The IFMI Board of Management would like to inform all PFM Certified Person that IFMI officially uses Computer Based Test (CBT) as exam delivery methodology. The CBT enables the PFM Candidate to take the examination from the candidate location or at the test center by using an internet connection.

All PFM Candidates may register their attendance for the exam at www.professionalfinanciamodeler.org. Please note that there are prerequisite conditions that you need to prepare to take the CBT. For example, the prerequisite for the computer is the computer use of Windows/Linux Operating System, with a minimum i3 core processor and 4 GB RAM. The computer must be enabled for internet browsing, download and upload files, preinstalled Libre Open Office Program, and have access to a good webcam. The exam participant must also provide additional gadgets linked with Zoom for surveillance and communication during the examination.

All PFM Candidates will be brief before the exam delivery, and the Invigilator / Proctor will check the readiness of the PFM Candidate to take the examination before the examination begins.

It is essential to understand that the CBT changes the exam delivery methodology but does not change the PFM Examination scheme, grading process, and decision on the certification.
