2026 Examination Fee

PFM Exam Fee - USD 650 per person

Covers the complete certification process for both modules taken on the same day: eligibility review, examination, grading, and digital certificate issuance. A minimum score of 60 is required to pass each module.

 

Retaking Exam Fee - USD 250 per person for single module or both modules at USD 500

Applicable for candidates who have not yet passed the examination and are retaking within one year from their original examination date. Retake examinations are scheduled separately per module.

 

Appeal  - USD 100 per person per attempt

Permitted once per examination attempt. Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the result announcement and are assessed independently of the original examining panel. The appeal fee is non-refundable regardless of outcome. For the full appeals procedure, refer to the IFMI Appeals Policy.

 

Payment & key policies

• Credit card and bank transfer are accepted. Bank transfers may incur an additional processing fee. Full payment instructions are provided upon exam registration.
• Candidates unable to sit for their registered window may submit a deferral request before the registration deadline of the target exam. Deferral is subject to availability and an administrative fee.
• Fees are subject to periodic review. Any changes to the fee structure will be communicated in advance and will not affect candidates already registered for a scheduled examination window.
