For IFMI, our Candidates and visitors remain our top priority and we understand that our visitors need to be in control of their personal information. Whatever we do is targeted towards providing them with the best services. The main purpose of the privacy policy is to help our visitors understand why we collect their information and what we do with it.

All information that is collected during the process is used for the provision of our services and to make improvements to our services in general and Candidate care. Information that is collected is kept under strict confidentially and is only accessed by the concerned authorities. Your information is neither rented nor sold out to any third parties not related to us. We maintain utmost security in all our procedures. Each process takes place with complete confidentiality and only authorized people can access the information. We respect your privacy as ours and know how to safeguard it. Some of the basic information collected IFMI includes for example personal information such your name, email and mailing address, phone number academic credentials, etc. that you provide when you fill out our forms, request information about IFMI, or e-mail us with questions or feedback, order documents, etc. This information is collected when you provide information at any step. In many cases, this information will identify you personally.

For visitors, candidates and certified persons, we use details such as the mailing and email addresses for making general correspondence. We respond to your comments, concerns and queries on the given email addresses. Mailing addresses are also used for shipment of certificates of certified persons.

For non-Candidates and non-certified persons, we may also use this personal data to contact you after you have expressed an interest in our programs and to follow up with you by sending information of our programs, services and products we think you might be interested in. For internal use, we may study the personal information collected through this Site to improve our programs and services themselves, to improve the content, functionality, navigation, and usability of this Site; to better understand the needs and interests of learners, alumni, and the other stakeholders; and improve our programs and services. We may also remove all the personally identifiable information and use the rest for historical, statistical, or scientific purposes should the information has to be made public.

Many of our pages allow for users to request information from the IFMI and affiliated institutions, these require contact information and the area of interest of the user. Again, you can choose not to provide this information online, by calling and placing your request through our email and/or phone.

Registering:

Certain areas such as the Candidate area require visitors to provide the user's name, address, e-mail address, as well as unique identifiers when they register. If you do not register, you will be able to access most of the site except those areas requiring registration.

Ordering Areas:

These areas such as the documents order area, allow users to place orders with IFMI and affiliated institutions and so require the provision of contact, delivery and financial information. You do not need to disclose your financial information online. Instead, you can email the ordering site, phone at the phone number(s) listed and provide the information needed to complete your order.

Other:

When providing feedback or comments to IFMI and affiliated institutions, you can choose not to disclose your contact information however if your comments require follow-up by a member of the IFMI and affiliated institutions, we will be unable to do so when contact information is not available.

Use of Data

Information provided by Candidates is used directly in variety of areas. Personal information is normally used in processing application, shipment of the documents (degrees and transcripts) and correspondence. Also, all staff members who use your provided information for scrutiny and evaluation purposes have signed a non-disclosure agreement for not sharing your information with anyone.

Being a registered as Candidate of PFM and CRP, candidates may receive updates about new programs and services that will be introduced. Your information will also benefit us while updating and improving our systems and services. IFMI also contacts prospective Candidates via phone, mail and email to confirm Candidate's interest in pursuing their certification.

Note however that all comments, feedback, information or materials submitted to IFMI for PFM and CRP through the contact us areas in this website (collectively, "Feedback") will be considered non-confidential and the property of IFMI. By submitting such Feedback to us, you agree to assign IFMI, without charge, all worldwide rights, title and interest, including copyrights and other intellectual property rights, in and to the Feedback. IFMI shall be free to use such Feedback on an unrestricted basis.

3rd Party Sharing

IFMI follows strict code of confidentiality and will abide by all applicable laws concerning the release of personal information. Under no circumstances do we divulge, provide or sell or rent any personal data submitted by visitors to our site to any unaffiliated third parties. Additionally, note that the credit card Information for payments provided by Candidates is saved with the third-party credit processing companies through which they are billed. This information is kept secret; neither retained nor shared for any purpose, and is discarded the moment procedures get completed. When you see a solid key or a locked padlock icon at the lower portion of your browser window, this indicates that your transmission will be protected by SSL technology. For the protection of the personal information we follow generally accepted industry standards.

How to Review, update or correct your information

Our Candidate, certified person and faculty services sites provide you with the option of changing and modifying information you have previously provided to us. Access of Candidate Area

Once our Candidates get enrolled with us, they will be granted access to their Candidate Area. You can access your courses, results and documents from the Candidate Area. You can even update your information and enrol for the next course from your Candidate Area.

How to stop receiving any further information

You can let us know that you do not wish to receive any further information from us by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails we send you, by communicating your request by emailing to info@professionalfinancialmodeler.org .

What information do we collect and how do we use it?

When you are registered to participate in PFM Certification Program, you need to be registered and logged into your account which you registered in www.professionalfinancialmodeller.org. By login using your account, we will capture your name, email address, phone number and address listed. You may be required to manually enter your credit card details. This information allows us to process and fulfil your order successfully. It also helps us in maintaining your account.

How does www.professionalfinancialmodeler.org protect information?

We use secure server and the secure sever software (SSL) encrypt all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the sensitive customer data we collect is protected by several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorized access.

Payment Gateway Info

Our payment options presently available are limited but, most importantly, safe and secure. We offer Credit Card payments for all our registered users. Credit Card payments are made directly through a 256-bit SSL Encryption software to ensure your personal details are kept safe. Once again, none of your credit card details are stored.

All credit card payments are processed securely through the Paypal.com. www.professinalfinancialmodeler.org does not store any credit card information on our s-ervers. You are required to create PayPal account for the transaction and accept the PayPal’s terms of services and privacy policy.
